About Me

If you’re really that interested, here’s a little bit more about me, this blog and what it’s all about.

I’m currently 33 years old and have been called various things over the past 10 years, some good, some bad. Those I am most proud of are freethinker, affiliate, webmaster, domainer, company director, husband, Essex boy and Cornish man. The one’s I don’t like, I won’t list here

I grew up in Essex and now live in Cornwall (there’s a few more beaches down here). I have been involved in website development since 1999 and work full time on the internet, making money online through affiliate marketing. I have numerous websites and domain names, too many to list here, but you’ll see some links to a few of them on the right, so go check them out.

You can view more about my company, Hampton Media Services Limited, but this site is my personal blog where I just throw a few things out there. I’m mainly talking to myself here, sounding things out and making notes for a latter day, should there ever be a time when I find myself bored and wanting to have a review of my thoughts and ideas for development.

I graduated in 1998 with a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Wolverhampton and have had several jobs including working as a Pizza Hut manager, Trainee Manager for Toys R Us, Account Executive for Donovan Data Systems and Account Manager for Deal Group Media before deciding to go into online marketing and working for myself as a serial online entrepreneur.

I’m obviously interested in the internet and modern technology and enjoy reading about topics such as AI (artificial intelligence), biometrics, privacy, security and data protection.
